Bodoglife Releases 2008 World Series of Poker Betting Odds

bodoglife world series of poker betting odds - wsop - bodog Bodoglife.com have released some interesting betting odds and prop bets for the 2008 World Series of Poker.

In past years, Bodoglife have released betting odds for the World Series of Poker main event that usually included odds for over a hundred players. This year (so far), the company seems to have pared back their offerings, instead offering users the chance to bet on which poker blogger or celebrity poker player will win the most money in the main event.

The first prop bet offered is:

Will a player win 2 or more bracelets during the 2008 World Series of Poker?

Yes +110
No -140

This means that if you wagered $100 on the "yes" side, then you would win $110 profit if someone took home more than two bracelets. If you choose the "No" side, then you would need to wager $140 in order to win $100 of profit on the bet.

Will a player win 3 or more bracelets in the 2008 World Series of Poker?

Yes +1400

This would mean that one player would have to win 3 out of the 55 events that will be running during the 2008 World Series of Poker. Considering that many tournaments overlap, you can easily halve the total tournaments that one person could play. It seems like an extreme long-shot, especially given the overall level of competition at the WSOP, but it has happened before. Phil Ivey won three bracelets in 2002. Phil Hellmuth Jr. won three bracelets in 1993, Ted Forrest won three in 1993 as well and Walter "Puggy" Pearson won three in 1973.

Will the record for youngest winner of a WSOP Bracelet be broken at the 2008 WSOP?

Yes +450
No -1000

The current record is held by Steve "MrSmokey1" Billirakis, who won a WSOP bracelet at the age of 21 years, 10 days.

Will a "Team Bodog" pro win a bracelet at the 2008 World Series of Poker?

Yes +130

Team Bodog now includes: David Williams, Evelyn Ng, Jean-Robert Bellande and Justin Bonomo. Josh Arieh was recently released from his Bodog sponsorship contract.

I think that "Zeejustin" is going to win a bracelet this year. He has come incredibly close to winning numerous major events, and I think that he is due.
