It took another online player to put an end to Jared "Wacokidd" Hamby's massively hot streak.

Shawn Buchanan, second in chips heading into the heads-up matchup, easily handled Hamby in heads-up action, taking down a first place prize of $768,775 dollars and the right to call himself a WPT champion. Hamby, for finishing second, took home $459,080 in prize money.

It will be interesting to see what kind of damage Hamby inflicts on the World Series of Poker, now that he is free and clear to start playing those events.

Jared "Wacokidd " Hamby

Just another tournament that was won by a prominent online player. Get used to it, because you will be seeing much more of this pattern in the future.
