Cereus Continues to Plummet Post-"Black Friday"Published on 2011-05-17 00:04:00
Pokerscout released the latest edition of their "Weekly Online Poker Traffic Update" earlier today.
According to the site, the Cereus network (which includes Absolute Poker and UB) has "lost some 83% of its traffic since Black Friday". Pokerscout claims that Cereus' traffic declined by an additional 29% in the past week as players continued to flee the network.
The dramatic decline in traffic on the Cereus network has dropped them into 28th place on Pokerscout's worldwide rankings. This puts Cereus just behind Everleaf (27th) and just ahead of SkyPoker (29th).
Pokerscout also released some Year over Year data in their report today. Here are the year-over-year changes from some of the most notable online poker networks:
Full Tilt Poker -24%
