-- The King is shuffling a deck of cards - while updating the people on the latest news from the poker world --1. "Isildur1" a no-go for PartyPoker.com Big Game IV.

According to Tony G, "Isildur1" will not be participating in the PartyPoker.com Big Game IV, which gets under way on Sunday.

Tony G was thought to have lured the mysterious Swede to the event by promising him an all-expenses paid trip to London, as well as some sort of a staking arrangement for the game.

According to Tony G, the two sides had agreed to a 50/50 staking deal. In addition, Tony G was going to fly "Isildur1" and three of his friends out to London for the game. "Isildur1" then pulled out of the arrangement at the last minute, citing "personal reasons".

Maybe this was just a marketing ploy from the beginning - who knows. I guess the "unmasking" of "Isildur1" will have to wait..

2. Tom "durrrr" Dwan Continues to Roll.

How about this for an upswing - since December 1st, 2009, Tom "durrrr" Dwan is up over $8 million on Full Tilt Poker, according to HighStakesDB.com.

This upswing has come over a total of 177,182 hands, meaning that "durrrr" has made over $45 for every hand that he has played on Full Tilt Poker since the beginning of December.

This upswing also means that "durrrr" has completely recovered from his horrific Jan'09 to Nov '09 performance that saw him lose about $7 million on FTP. Not only that, but Dwan also has a stranglehold on the "durrrr Challenge", plus he has also seemingly fared very well in live cash games over the past six months or so.

Life is good for "durrrr"..

3. Chris "Jesus" Ferguson Gets Into The Movie Business.

According to Deadline.com, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson and Ray Bitar have decided to become the lead investors in a new film/TV venture called "RCR Pictures".

Ferguson and Bitar were apparently lured into investing in the company due to their "love of films".

The company's first project will apparently be a remake of "Nevada Smith", which was a "1966 Western that starred Steve McQueen".
