Joseph Miceli, Jordan Morgan On Top of WPT Bellagio Cup VI After Day 2

-- The King is having a cold bevie - Bellagio WPT --The second day of play in the WPT Bellagio Cup VI is now a wrap, with Joseph Miceli finishing as the chip leader heading into Day 3 on Tuesday.

Miceli, who has just over $125k in total lifetime “live” tournament cashes, managed to finish Day 2 of the Bellagio Cup VI with around 440k in chips. Jordan Morgan, who also made a big move on Monday, has approximately 431k heading into Tuesday.

Here are the top five chip stacks in this event after Day 2:

Joseph Miceli - 440k
Jordan Morgan - 431k
Guillaume Darcourt - 378k
Paola Martin - 291k
Albert Minnullin - 269k

Men “The Master” Nguyen (240k), Daniel Alaei (220k) and Scott Seiver (215k) also finished strong on Day 2.

Tournament organizers are keeping the registration for this event open up until 1:30 pm on Tuesday afternoon to accommodate bust-outs from the WSOP main event. The strategy paid off on Monday, as approximately 60 more players signed up to play on Day 2 of the event.

According to Phil Hellmuth, Chris “Jesus” Ferguson and Phil Ivey are both planning on showing up to play on Tuesday afternoon.

Prize pool information for the Bellagio Cup VI is still not known as of yet, due to the fact that registration is still open.
