Tournament of Champions All-Star Event Gets Started on Sunday
Published on 2010-06-27 05:01:00After months of build-up (thanks to fan voting), the 2010 World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions (TOC) will finally get under way on Sunday afternoon.
The Tournament of Champions is back after a long hiatus (the last TOC took place in 2006), and will feature a field of just 27 players.
The field will be comprised of:
Five Automatic Exemptions
Annie Duke (2004 TOC Champion)
Mike Matusow (2005 TOC Champion)
Mike Sexton (2006 TOC Champion)
Joe Cada (2009 WSOP main event Champion)
Barry Shulman (2009 WSOPE main event Champion)
Two Qualifiers
Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier (WSOP Academy Playoff Winner)
Andrew Barton (WSOP.com UK Qualifier)
