About a week ago, I was speaking with someone about Annette "Annette_15" Obrestad. The person that I was speaking with mentioned that Annette was one of the few people who had ever cashed for over a million dollars in live tournaments and over a million dollars in online tournaments. This led me to research the topic, and I have discovered three names so far that have accomplished the task. The original full article is located here.

As you can see, the list contains three names (so far): Annette, Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy, and Kevin "Bel0wAb0ve" Saul. There were also a number of names that I considered potential contenders for the list, but who had missed out (so far). That list included:

Sorel Mizzi, JC Tran, Greg Raymer, Chad Batista, Eric Lynch, Scott Fischman, Jared Hamby, Jimmy Fricke, Cory Carroll and James Mackey.

So the question is: of these names, who is most likely to join the Million / Million Club next?

If I were a betting man, I would say that Sorel "Imper1um" Mizzi is the next to join the list. He already has well over a million in online cashes, and including his chop in the 2007 Irish Poker Open, has about 900k in live cashes. You have to figure it is just a matter of time before he has another 100k+ score in a live tournament.

Next on the list would be James "Mig.com" Mackey. Mackey now has a WCOOP bracelet and a WSOP bracelet. He has well over a million in online cashes, but is about $200k away from earning a million in live cashes. You have to figure that considering how talented Mackey is, he will earn his entry into the Million / Million club within the year.

JC Tran and Raymer are both great players with major online scores under their belts (Tran chopped the WCOOP championship and Raymer has a WCOOP bracelet) but neither play all that much online, so it might be a while before the two fulfill the online cash requirement.

Batista needs to win over a half million in live cashes (he easily fulfills the online requirement). Based on how talented Batista is, I give it a year before he has a million in live cashes.

"TheWacokidd" and "Ugotpzd" both have the live cashes but fall a bit short on the online cashes. "Gobboboy" won't take that long to crack the list either, as he already has a tremendous amount of cashes in live play, though he will need to increase his volume of MTT's online in order to crack the list.

In short, Sorel Mizzi and "Mig.com" seem the most likely to crack the list next. The fact that some of the people on these lists are still teenagers makes their accomplishments even more awe-inspiring.
