Full Tilt Poker, the poker room which features such prominent names as Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson and Erick Lindgren, just recently announced their World Series of Poker promotions. Here is a quick breakdown. Unbelievably, the main event is expected to have a first prize of over ten million dollars.

First off, Full Tilt is having the same promotion as they did last year, in that if you win the World Series of Poker and qualified for the tournament through Full Tilt Poker, they will give you an additional ten million dollars on top of whatever you earn at the tournament. So potentially, you could win 10 million at the actual tournament, and get an ADDITIONAL 10 million from Full Tilt. If you make the final table, Full Tilt will give you $50k, and if you finish in the top three, they'll give you $100k, if you qualified for the tournament through their website.

In additional, Full Tilt is having a $1 Million WSOP Main Event Seat Giveaway. Every month, they will be giving away 20 seats in a freeroll, starting in March. How to qualify? You can't buy your way into the freerolls; you need to earn your way in, through either accumulating 10,000 Full Tilt Points over the course of a month, earning a certain amount of "WSOP Points", or qualifying through a weekly freeroll.

On top of that, Full Tilt is running a huge 100 seat guarantee event on July 16th. The buy-in is $535, or you can qualify through a $75 single table qualifier, or an assortment of multi-table qualfier events. This tournament is such to generate a lot of buzz for Full Tilt.

On top of that, Full Tilt is holding weekly tournaments with a prize of at least two seats in the World Series of Poker main event.

Full Tilt is certainly going all-out on the World Series of Poker this year, and it will be interesting to see what the other rooms do to follow suit. Expect big promotions from Bodog and PokerStars especially.
