Kevin Hart Set To Play in $300,000 Buy-In Event

Kevin Hart, fresh off of an appearance in a Super High Roller event at the recent Pokerstars Championship Monte Carlo event, is going to be participating in the upcoming $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl at the ARIA in Las Vegas.

The ARIA offered 35 "open" seats to the event that were determined through a lottery, 20 "reserved" seats that were given out at the casino's discretion and one additional "celebrity guest" seat.

There was some discussion as to the possible identity of the celebrity guest, with Michael Phelps, James Woods and Ben Affleck being mentioned as possibilities.

In the end, Kevin Hart ended up getting awarded the seat, which will give him a chance to take down the $6 million first place prize.

Hart will have his work cut out for him, however, as the tournament is filled with sharks. There will be no joking around, as the buy-in for the tournament is so large and the payouts so high, so you can safely assume that the pros in the event will be going after Hart aggressively.

Some of the other players in the event who will be battling for Hart's chips include Daniel Negreanu, Daniel Colman and Fedor Holz.

The Super High Roller Bowl is set to get underway at the ARIA on May 28th and will run until June 1st.
