Dwan Takes Second Place in Super High Roller Tournament at 2017 MBP Spring Challenge

Tom "durrrr" Dwan, who has stayed almost completely out of the spotlight over the past 3-4 years, resurfaced at a poker tournament in Macau this past weekend. Dwan's rare appearance turned out to be a worthwhile one, as he ended up finishing in second place in the HK$ 500,000 (roughly $60,000 USD) buy-in event at the 2017 MBP Spring Challenge for HK$ 1,957,000 ($252,153 USD). In the end, Dwan ended up dropping the heads-up match to Mikita Badziakouski, who walked away with a payday of roughly $420,000 USD.

Dwan has been the subject of many different rumors over the past couple of years, as the second "durrrrr Challenge" against Daniel Cates remains unfinished, which has led many to question his current financial position. Over the past few weeks, rumors about Dwan and his finances have started to swirl once again.
