Bodog Set To Expand Into Latin America Following Sale To PayWaingLuo

Following the sale of their network to PayWaingLuo, a "Hong Kong-based consortium", the Bodog and Bovada brands are both set to expand their geographical footprints.

According to an email that was circulated earlier today, Bodog is set to launch its poker, casino and sports offerings in the following countries in short order:

Mexico
Brasil
Argentina
Peru
Bolivia
Venezuela
Chile
Columbia

Per the email, "Bovada Sports and Casino will still only be available in Mexico".

This marks the first serious expansion for the Bodog brand for the past number of years. Recently, Bodog and Bovada have been focused on just a few key markets (namely Canada and the United States), so news of their most recent expansion certainly raised some eyebrows.
