Jerry Yang's Seized Watch Sells on Ebay

2007 World Series of Poker main event champion Jerry Yang hasn't had a good time of things since taking down poker's biggest prize. A number of Yang's assets, including a Corum Admiral's Cup watch that was given to him for making the 2007 WSOP main event final table, were seized in order to help pay Yang's debts to the government. Yang had multiple tax liabilities to the Internal Revenue Service and the Franchise Tax Board of California.
Yang's watch was purchased by a private investor at a seizure auction last year. A few weeks ago, the watch resurfaced on Ebay, with the seller initially listing the item with a starting bid amount of $50.
A total of 58 bids eventually came in on the watch, with the winning bid reaching a total of $6,209.67.
The winning bidder likely ended up with a good deal, as the watch reportedly retails for over $9,000. In addition, the watch has a bit of history behind it, as it was won by a World Series of Poker main event champion.
