$11.43 Million in Online Gaming Revenues in April

The Atlantic City Boardwalk at night - PhotoNew Jersey's Division of Online Gaming Enforcement released April's online gaming numbers earlier this week.

According to the report, the companies currently allowed to operate online gaming sites in the state generated approximately $11.43 million in revenues in the month of April, down from $11.9 million in March.

Here is the breakdown of total Internet gross revenues by company in April:

Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa, $4,116,560
Caesars Interactive Entertainment, $3,055,432
Golden Nugget Atlantic City, $575,914
Tropicana Casino and Resort, $2,145,103
Trump Plaza Associates, $926,278
Trump Taj Mahal Associates, $609,450

Total - $11,428,737

Here are the online poker revenues numbers by company:

The online poker numbers for both the Borgata and Caesars were down substantially from the month before (the Borgata brought in $1,642,314 in online poker revenues in March, while Caesars brought in $1,468,035).

Companies are finding it challenging to gain a foothold in the new legal online gaming markets in the United States, which has resulted in some dramatically decreased projections for online gaming revenue generation in Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware.
