Patrik Antonius with a smile on his facePatrik Antonius easily beat Brandon Adams 6-0, 6-1 to win their tennis prop bet yesterday. Despite playing "every day" for seven months to prepare for the match, Adams wasn't able to mount much of a challenge as Antonius easily cruised to a victory.

For his victory, Antonius ended up receiving $30k. If Adams had managed to pull off the upset and win, then he would have taken home $295k from Antonius.

Adams and Antonius apparently have another match planned for next year, where Antonius will start each of his service games with a 0-30 disadvantage. There will reportedly be $100k on the line in that match-up.

The match between Adams and Antonius, which took place at the International Tennis Center in Las Vegas, was open to the public.

Adams said that Antonius has "got too much toughness for me" and that Patrik "has amazing natural talent for the game". Antonius played a great deal of tennis growing up and also spent time working as a tennis coach.
