Phil Hellmuth Will Not Be Appearing on "Dancing With The Stars"

There was a rumor making the rounds over the past few weeks that "The Poker Brat" Phil Hellmuth would be competing on the newest season of "Dancing With The Stars".

Hellmuth fired up the rumor mill by posting this on his Twitter account back in December:

"OMG! Phil Hellmuth (me!) on "Dancing with the Stars!" Outrageous! Might make a fool out of myself on Worldwide Television one more time..."

Then, just a week ago, Hellmuth posted a link to an article that listed "The Poker Brat" as one of the rumored participants on the newest season of "Dancing With The Stars".

Well, it turns out that these were both just head-fakes, as Hellmuth was not on the list of cast members for the newest season of "Dancing With The Stars" that was released by ABC earlier today. Names such as Chris Jericho and Ralph Macchio were on the list, but Phil Hellmuth was nowhere to be seen.

So, it's official - no Phil Hellmuth on "Dancing With The Stars".
