Highest Bid on Eastgate Bracelet Up to $45,100
Published on 2010-11-18 21:35:00Earlier this week, Peter Eastgate put his 2008 World Series of Poker main event bracelet up for auction on Ebay.
According to Ebay, 100% of the proceeds from the sale will go to support the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.
The starting price for the bracelet was $16,000.
Over the past 3 1/2 days, 15 bidders have placed a total of 39 bids for the bracelet, driving the price up to $45,100.
Given the fact that there is still 6 1/2 days left in the auction, some people are predicting that the sale of the bracelet may end up raising over $100,000 for UNICEF.
Tony G has thrown his hat into the ring, claiming that he is going to be the one that ends up buying the bracelet. Tony G, whose blog has turned into Linkbait Central as of late, has claimed that he plans on getting the bracelet adapted "into a special collar for my trusted German Shephard Zasko".
Peter Eastgate has caught the giving bug it seems, as he has also put up his wristwatch for auction on Ebay as well.
