Ted Forrest Collects $2 Million After Losing 50 Pounds in Two Months

-- Ted Forrest being congratulated --Ted Forrest recently cashed in on a ridiculous prop bet that saw him collect $2 million after successfully losing 50 pounds in two months.

Apparently after eating a meal at the Commerce in May, Forrest entered into a prop bet with Mike Matusow and Justin “BoostedJ” Smith.

The terms of the bet? If Forrest was able to lose 50 pounds in just two months, then Matusow and Smith would have to pay out $2 million. If Forrest was able to lose the 50 pounds by September 15th, then he would win $1 million. If he wasn’t able to loss 50 pounds by September 15th, then Forrest would have to pay out $150,000.

The official weigh-in was held yesterday, and Forrest tipped the scales at an alarmingly low 138 pounds. Forrest, who weighed 188 pounds when the bet was made in May, won the bet (and the $2 million).

Pictures of the weigh-in can be seen by visiting the link provided below. (Full Tilt Poker blog).

ESPN was on hand to film the official weigh-in, and several other witnesses were present as well (including Huck Seed, who is the master of tough physical prop bets).

If you’ll remember, Mike Matusow collected on a $100,000 weight loss bet with Forrest back in 2008 after the “Mouth” was able to lose 60 pounds over the course of an entire year.

This is obviously some sweet revenge for Forrest, who accomplished the nearly impossible task of losing 50 pounds in 2 months by severely limiting his food intake over the two month period, exercising, and dehydrating himself before the weigh-in.
