Event Will Feature Names Such as Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth and Barry Greenstein
Published on 2010-02-23 02:49:00The starting tables of the $25,000 High Roller Bounty Shootout at the NAPT Venetian were finalized earlier tonight during a draw party.
The event will get underway at 11 am (local time) on Tuesday, with the final table taking place on Thursday, February 25th.
This event is in a shootout format, meaning that players will basically have to win a 7-man SNG to make it to the final table.
This is a bounty shootout though, meaning that players will earn $5,000 for each person that they eliminate from the tournament. In addition, Pokerstars will be handing out $100,000 to the person who ends up with the most bounties by the end of the event.
Each person who makes it to the final table will leave with $50,000, with the eventual winner of the event taking home whatever is left over in the prize pool.
This event is being taped for broadcast on ESPN2. The episodes will air on April 19th (9-11 pm ET) and April 26th (9-10 pm ET).
