Patrik Antonius with a mean starePatrik Antonius and "Isildur1" went to war on Monday evening / early Tuesday morning, with Patrik Antonius emerging as the big winner.

Just how big?

When the smoke had cleared and the dust had settled, Antonius walked away with approximately $2.7 million dollars of the mysterious Swede's money.

"Isildur1" managed to win a bit of his money back from Brian Townsend, but overall it was a pretty nasty day for the newest online poker sensation.

After last night's battle, "Isildur1" is still the biggest winner on Full Tilt Poker this month (by far), having cleared somewhere in the neighborhood of $3.5 - $4 million dollars. This is well off of his highs for the months though, and you have to wonder if he will be able to regain his momentum.

With his impressive performance in Monday's session, Patrik Antonius is now the biggest winner on FTP on the year, having made nearly $8.5 million dollars over 160k tracked hands. The next closest player? Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies, who has made approximately $4.2 million dollars over 82k tracked hands.

The Patrik Antonius / "Isildur1" battle on Monday included the largest ever online poker pot.

The previous record was a $724k pot that was won by Di "Urindanger" Dang in 2008. Dang and Tom "durrrr" Dwan tangled in this hand, with Dang's pocket Aces holding up over Dwan's pocket Kings.

Antonius and "Isildur1" combined for a $879k pot on Monday night that easily shattered the previous record.

The players got all-in after the turn, with the board reading 5h-7h-Qs-Ad.

Antonius held 6h-Ah-Qc-9s for two pair, the nut flush draw and a gutshot straight draw.

"Isildur1" held Qd-10h-Ks-As for two pair and a gutshot straight draw of his own.

The river brought the 8d, giving Antonius a nine-high straight and the massive pot.

With the results from Monday night, a few questions come to mind:

-Will "Isildur1" give back the rest of his recent winnings, much like "martonas" did a few short months ago?

-Have the top players in the world started to figure out the "Isildur1" puzzle, or was he just running really hot for a couple of weeks?

-will his opponents insist on playing PLO? (Antonius and Galfond have both stated a preference for playing PLO against "Isildur1")

-will Tom "durrrr" Dwan get another shot at "Isildur1"?

The "Isildur1" saga continues..
