Hellmuth Replaced By Dennis Phillips In "Poker After Dark" Cash Game

-- poker after dark logo - tv show --According to Dennis Phillips' Twitter page, Phil Hellmuth "stormed off" the set of "Poker After Dark" last night.

Phillips was apparently "sitting down to eat" when he was asked to fill in for Hellmuth, and eagerly accepted. Phillips apparently played for the last two hours, saying that it "went great".

Hellmuth was scheduled to play two straight days of cash games on "Poker After Dark".

Yesterday's cash game (the one that Hellmuth left in a rage) featured Hellmuth, Chris Ferguson, Antonio Esfandiari, Brandon Adams, Todd Brunson and Mike "The Mouth" Matusow. The game had a $50k minimum buy-in.

I'm assuming that Matusow put Hellmuth over the edge..

POKER PROductions, the producers of "Poker After Dark", said that viewers should "make sure to watch or set your DVR" when this cash game week airs on TV.

Hellmuth is back at it again today, playing in another "cash game week" against the following players:

Tom Dwan
Doyle Brunson
Phil Laak
Eli Elezra
Gus Hansen

There could definitely be some more Hellmuth tilting on the way..
