updated WCOOP tournament logoNot a bad life.

Hours after taking down the WCOOP main event for over $1.7 million dollars, Yevgeniy Timoshenko (known as "bballer88" on Full Tilt Poker and "Jovial Gent" on Pokerstars) took down the $1k Monday tournament on FTP for $75k.

Timoshenko's performance on Monday just helped to cement his status as one of the very best young poker players in the world.

"Jovial Gent" easily worked his way through the final table of the WCOOP main event, dispatching player after player en route to the title. After eliminating Dan "djk123" Kelly in fourth place, the outcome of the tournament was never in doubt.

The $1k Monday tournament on FTP pretty much went exactly the same way, as "bballer88" crushed the final table en route to the $75k payday.

In addition to wrecking online tournaments for millions of dollars over the past few years, Timoshenko is also a very accomplished "live" tournament player, having already captured two major titles (WPT Championship and $5k event at Asian Poker Tour in 2008). Timoshenko already has over $3 million dollars in live tournament cashes, and he is still only in his early 20s.

It's almost unreal how good players such as Timoshenko and Dan "djk123" Kelly are at such a young age.
