poker player brian rast and full tilt poker logoBrian "tsarrast" Rast is having a great month on Full Tilt Poker in February, having made an estimated $1.6 million dollars over just 8,348 tracked hands.

Rast is a well-known high-stakes cash game player who final tabled the $5k PLO w/ rebuys event at the World Series of Poker last summer.

Most of Rast's profits this month ($1.35 million dollars) have come from the Mixed HA (PLHE and PLO) games. The $1.6 million dollars in profits over the first 18 days of February has pushed Rast into the green for the year, as he currently sits with a total profit of $1.086 million dollars in 2009.

"tsarrast" isn't the only player who is enjoying a strong February.

Hac "trex313" Dang continues to pad his profit totals in 2009, as he has made an additional $1.63 million dollars in February. Add this to his impressive gains in January, and Dang is currently sitting with over $3 million dollars in profits in 2009.

Sami "LarsLuzak" Kelopuro has also had a strong February, banking over $1.3 million dollars in profits over 14,330 tracked hands. Kelopuro has shaken off a poor start to the year, and is now up $490k in 2009.

Other players who have had strong starts to the month include:

Tom "durrrr" Dwan +800k
"JohnnyPav" +443k
Mark Vos +422k
Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond +409k
"__FullFlush1__" +321k

On the flip side, "OnTheRize" (who is rumored to be JC Tran) and Patrik Antonius are both down over a million dollars in February so far. Patrik Antonius, as you likely know, just began the "durrrr" Challenge with Tom Dwan, so I would expect to see some pretty wild bankroll swings for him as the challenge progresses.

Other players who are off to poor starts this month include:

Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies -722k
Gus Hansen -661k
Chau Giang -557k
Phil Ivey -408k
