poker player gus hansen - signs a deal with full tilt poker - logoJuly is now in the books, and the biggest winners and losers in Full Tilt Poker's high stakes cash games have now been decided for the month.

The big winner ended up being Gus Hansen, who finished up with a total profit of $1.058 million dollars for the month. Hansen's high-variance style was on full display in July, as he swung wildly during the course of the month, booking mid six-figure profits one day, and then losing the profits right back the next day. In the end though, Hansen managed to clear just over a million dollars in July.

There was another million dollar winner on the site in July - "LoliNa" booked a total profit of $1.031 million dollars over 19,920 tracked hands.

The top five list of winners was rounded out by: David Singer (+$851k), "slaktarn" (+$797k) and "Urindanger" (+$634k). David Oppenheim, "Ziigmund" and "SteveSung" also had strong months on the site, as all booked profits in excess of $400k on the month. It should be noted that HighStakesDB is now tracking the high-stakes HORSE and Omaha Hi/Lo games on Full Tilt, which has led to the inclusion of some new names on the list. Players like David Singer and David Oppenheim tend to play mostly HORSE, so they were largely absent from the lists before.

There were three million dollar plus losers on the site in July. They were:

"ICallSoWhat" (-$1.459 million)
"patatino" (-$1.345 million)
David Benyamine (-$1.030)

"ICallSoWhat" and David Benyamine both have still had tremendous years, despite their downturns in July. Benyamine is still up $2.895 million on Full Tilt in 2008, and "ICallSoWhat" is still up $1.46 million. "patatino" is now down a total of $2.133 million dollars on the year.

Other familiar names on the list of the top losers on Full Tilt in July include:

Patrik Antonius (-$762k)
John Juanda (-$701k)
Markus Golser (-$442k)
Mike Matusow (-$404k)
