With the World Series of Poker quickly approaching and the FTOPS currently taking place, I would expect that the high stakes cash game action on Full Tilt Poker will really start to heat up over the next week or so.
So far in May, "present" is the biggest No Limit Hold'em cash game winner on the site and "Markus Golser" is the biggest PLO winner.
"present" is currently leading the way in No Limit Hold'em with a total profit of $202k for the month of May. "KOMIJENDO" is currently in second place with a total profit of $116k, and "Slinkypwnzu" is in third place with a profit of $94.6k. Most of this profit came after a particularly one-sided thrashing that "Slinkypwnzu" laid on "toppsett" earlier in the week.
Isaac "luvtheWNBA" Haxton and "mastrblastr" round out the top five with gains of $89.1k and $88.8k on the month.
"Juggle This" leads the list of biggest losers in May, having dropped a total of $90k on the month. "pr1nnyraid" is currently in second with a total loss of $82k, and "toppsett" occupies the third spot having dropped $81k in May. Eric Liu (-78k) and mrcall912 (-74k) round out the top five.
As usual, Pot Limit Omaha is where most of the action is on Full Tilt Poker.
Markus Golser and "CHUFTY" are current sitting atop the Pot Limit Omaha leaderboard with total profits of approximately $639k for the month. Plenty of familiar names occupy the top five - David Benyamine (+432k), "OMGClayAiken" (+401k) and "Ziigmund" (+391k). "Ziigmund" had a particularly good day on Sunday, finishing up over a couple hundred thousand dollars on the cash game tables and going deep in a FTOPS event.
"EURO32PLYR" currently sits atop the list of biggest PLO losers in May having dropped a total of $542k on the month. "trex313" is second on the list with a loss of $520k, and "Ugadabugada" is in third, having lost $504k of his bankroll. Another Dang brother, "Urindanger", is in fourth place having lost $446k, and "lady marmelade" rounds out the top five with a total loss of $376k for the month of May.
