poker player tom dwan aka durrrr - playing at full tilt pokerAs of April 3rd, 2008, Tom "durrrr" Dwan has emerged as the biggest winner on Full Tilt Poker Year to Date with a total estimated profit of $2.132 million dollars. This takes into account the high stakes Pot Limit Omaha and No Limit Hold'em games on the site, and doesn't include any of the mixed games.

Dwan has enjoyed a tremendous amount of success since November 1, 2007. He is up a combined $2.8 million on Full Tilt Poker and has done very well in some live events as well. Dwan came fourth in the 2007 World Poker Finals main event for $324k, second in the $3k Pot Limit Omaha championship at the Aussie Millions for $90k and second at the $5k No Limit Hold'em event at the 2008 Borgata Winter Open for $226k. This is all in the past five months.

It's no wonder that even at such a young age, Dwan is considered to be one of the top cash game players in the world (by everyone except Phil Hellmuth probably). Many opponents won't play him, and those that do usually wish that they hadn't. Dwan will take on anybody, from Phil Ivey to Patrik Antonius to David Benyamine.

There are two other players who are also up more than a million dollars on Full Tilt Poker so far in 2008 (in high stakes cash games). They are:

trex313 - $1.82 million dollars
ICallSoWhat - $1.23 million dollars

Not only is Dwan up millions on Full Tilt Poker, but he also seems to be doing really well on Pokerstars. About a week ago, Dwan beat "ScHnibl0r" for around $250,000. There is no data from his play on Pokerstars since the beginning of the year, but I would assume that Dwan is up on that site as well year to date.

Considering how young Dwan is and how good he already is, it's scary to think where he will be at in a couple of years.

Here are some more stats for you:

-Dwan is currently averaging $22,680 a day in profits on Full Tilt Poker this year

-he is averaging around $34.60 in profit for every hand that he plays on the site in 2008

-he is on pace to make over $8 million on Full Tilt in 2008
