The online poker community is abuzz today after the release of the May 2008 issue of Playboy. This issue has a multi-page spread featuring Jennifer "Jennicide" Leigh.
Jennifer Leigh was born on August 10th, 1983. The alias "Jennicide" came from her days as a hacker. She still describes herself as a "nerd" who has a love for video games (especially World of Warcraft) and computer programming.
According to Wikipedia, "Jennicide" was introduced to the world of poker by Robert Boyd, "Dutch" Boyd's brother. She built up a bankroll at Pokerstars and eventually was playing the $100/$200 Limit Hold'em games on the site. These limit hold'em games are where "Jennicide" first made a name for herself.
"Jennicide" has just over $60,000 in cashes in "live" tournament poker, including a 45th place finish at the 2006 Legends of Poker (WPT) and an 18th place finish at a preliminary World Series of Poker event in 2006.
Jennifer "Jennicide" Leigh also has a couple of large cashes online, including a 4th place finish for $44k in a 2006 Pokerstars "Sunday Million" event and a final table appearance in a 2005, Limit Hold'em WCOOP event in which she cashed for $11,000.
We're not going to post any links to the article here. If you really want to see it for free, then you can find it online easily enough. We'd suggest that you go out and buy the magazine, because if enough people buy the issue then there will likely be more poker pictorials in the future.
