It's still early in the month, but so far Isaac "luvtheWNBA" Haxton and Brian "LucLongley" Hastings have banked the most money in the high stakes cash games on Full Tilt Poker in March.
"luvtheWNBA" is currently leading the way in the high stakes No Limit Hold'em cash games with a total profit of $121k for the month. "pr1nnyraid", one of the biggest winners on the site in 2007, has banked $81k in profit while "play2kill" is in third place with a little over $58k. Phil Ivey and "Arbianight" round out the top five.
"IDreamofJenna", whom you might remember from some of his epic battles with Patrik Antonius a while ago, is currently the bigger NLHE loser with a total loss of $78k. "coronel" is in second with a loss of $71k, while the top five is rounded out by "guaranteed376" (-$51k), "LucLongley" (-$49k) and "jdb401" (-$39k).
As mentioned, "LucLongley" is currently leading the way in the high stakes Pot Limit Omaha games with a total profit of $348k in March. "LucLongley", aka Brian Hastings, aka "Stinger", is a teacher at Cardrunners.com.
"KObyTAPOUT" is currently the second biggest winner with a total profit of $203k for the month of March. "Icre84u" is in third place with a gain of $94k, while "Luck123" is in fourth place with a total profit of $84k. "pr1nnyraid" also makes an appearance on the list of most profitable PLO players in March with a total gain of $83k.
"Ziigmund" currently tops the list of biggest PLO losers so far in March with a total loss of $304k. Gus Hansen is continuing his recent downswing with an additional $144k in losses so far in March. Hansen seems to have prolonged downswings, followed by intense upswings where he can bank a million dollars in profit over just a couple of days.
"halibut2" is next on the list with a total loss of $114k for the month of March. The top five is rounded out by "trex313" (-$103k) and "guaranteed376" (-$90k), two of the biggest overall winners in the month of February.
High stakes action has been a little bit on the light side recently due to the L.A. Poker Classic and the 2008 National Heads-Up Championship. I would expect things to start picking up as we head further into March.
