Phil Hellmuth and Tom "Durrrr" Dwan met in the first round of the 2008 National Heads-up Poker Championship.
Hellmuth starts off in the pre-match interview by stating that he has played Dwan online before, and that whenever an online player gets "cocky", Hellmuth challenges him to play poker in the "real world" (meaning, a casino in California).
"durrrr" clearly finds this funny. Even though Dwan has enjoyed most of his success online, he still has over $675k in total "live" cashes, so clearly he is not in over his head in a live setting, even though that is what Hellmuth seems to be implying.
The two begin their heads-up battle, and the match ends in just three hands. The real fireworks begin, and a heads-up challenge is issued and seemingly accepted.
