Ultimatebet Freeroll, Poker Room and Bonus Code Review

Bonus Code: THEKING

Ultimatebet is currently offering an extremely generous 110% Bonus up to $1100

Synopsis

Ultimatebet.com has one of the most recognizable brands of all of the online poker rooms currently in existence. The company has had its ups and downs over the years, but still remains one of the top ten sites in the world in terms of traffic (according to Pokerscout.com, they are currently #8). They offer some of the most eye-pleasing and easy to use software and their tournament structures are some of the best on the Net.

People seem to have a love/hate relationship with Ultimatebet. People either really, really love them (due to their software and tournament structures), or they really, really hate them (usually due to poor customer service).

Ultimatebet does seem to be making some strides when it comes to customer service and cashouts, but they still have a long ways to go to catch some of the other rooms in the industry in that department, especially Pokerstars.

RAI$E Program

Ultimatebet.com has recently instituted a new customer loyalty program called "RAI$E". What is "RAI$E" exactly? Ultimatebet touts it as "the most lucrative loyalty program" in all of online poker.

Here is how it works. For each real money cash game hand that you play or SNG or MTT that you enter, you earn "RAI$E" points. The more RAI$E points, the better. There are five levels. The initial "Member" level. Then the "Player" level which comes from earning 50 RAI$E points. Then, the "Contender" level which starts at 500 points. After that, you have "LEGEND" which begins at 2,500 points, and "ICON" level which begins at 10,000 points. This applies to all points earned over a six month period, averaged out.

With each subsequent level that you attain, your Ultimatebet Points start to multiply. When you hit the "Player" level, your points multiply by 2; when you hit the "Contender" level, your points multiply by 3, and so on up until the "ICON" level, when your points are multiplied by 5.

There are many benefits to moving up the ladder. Let's cover the "ICON" level. Keep in mind that you need 10k points in a month to qualify. By making the ICON level, you will receive: UB Points that multiply by 5, reload bonus offerings, exclusive access to poker tournaments, Cash for Ultimatebet Points up to $1k monthly, 9% per annum interest on daily balances higher than $1k, and other "VIP Perks". This is the highest level. As you move down in levels, you will receive less and less "perks".

Freerolls

Ultimatebet.com offers a number of different freerolls.

They offer up a freeroll tournament that runs 35 minutes after each hour, which offers entrance into the $1000 Ultimate Freeroll Weekly Event that starts at 1:15 pm on Sundays. There is also $50 split amongst the top 20 players in these "preliminary" events, with first place receiving $9, second place receiving $7, and so on.

The "Ultimatebet Freeroll Weekly", as mentioned, runs at 1:15 pm EST on Sundays. You must qualify in one of the 24 daily "qualifying" tournaments in order to play in this event. The prize pool is quite appetizing - first place wins $250, second place receives $150, all the way down to the 50th place finisher who receives $4. You have to like your chances in this tournament, as I would bet that half the field won't even play.

On Sundays, Ultimatebet runs their hourly freerolls every second hour but doubles the prizepools. Instead of $50 being distributed to the field, $100 is distributed to the field. The top place finisher receives $26, while the 30th place finisher receives $0.65.

Lastly, Ultimatebet offers their "Ultimate Gear" Freerolls which run a couple of times per day at 11:35 pm EST and 3:35 pm EST. The top 30 finishers in this event will receive an entry to the $1000 Ultimate Weekly Freeroll on Sunday. In addition, the top 7 finishers will receive Ultimate Gear, including a Polo Shirt to the winner and hats and T-Shirts to the 2nd to 7th place finishers.

Bonuses

Ultimatebet offers their new depositors an extremely generous 111% bonus up to $1100. This is one of the highest bonuses in the industry. If you are an active player on the site, then Ultimatebet will also periodically allow you to take advantage of "reload" bonuses in accordance with their new RAI$E program.

Ultimatebet Overview

My honest opinion of Ultimatebet.com is this. For me, the pros of Ultimatebet include: their software (I really, really like their software), their fairly soft cash games, their tournament structures and their new RAI$E program. I like the idea of getting interest on my money, and I would hope that more poker rooms would follow UB's lead in the future.

The downsides to Ultimatebet? The tournament fields just aren't that big (some of the early morning tournaments play like Sit and Go's), the poor customer service and the fact that Ultimatebet charges $8 to withdraw via check.

Ultimatebet DOES seem to be making an effort to try and improve. Their customer service is improving, and some of their new promotions (including the RAI$E promotion), do show some promise. If you are a serious player who is looking to play in some high stakes games, then Ultimatebet is probably not the right site for you. If you are looking to just have some fun and play a few hands every weekend, then Ultimatebet is a good choice.
