"KidPoker" To Be Released By Pokerstars Original FilmsPublished on 2015-05-12 07:59:00
Earlier this week, the official Youtube.com channel for Pokerstars posted a trailer for an upcoming documentary titled "KidPoker".
This documentary, which will be released by Pokerstars Original Films, promises to "take you into the mind and soul of one of the greatest poker players to have ever graced the felt." The player that the documentary will feature? None other than Daniel Negreanu, "Team Pokerstars Pro" member and arguably the greatest poker player (and greatest ambassador of the game itself, for that matter) of all time.
Negreanu, who currently sits atop the all-time tournament cash list with nearly $30 million in total lifetime cashes, is an extremely polarizing personality in the poker world. Negreanu is certainly not afraid to speak his mind and has publicly clashed with the likes of Annie Duke, Howard Lederer and others. Negreanu is also not afraid to express views about topics that have a sensitive nature, which has led to some spirited Twitter discussions and some fans being turned off from the Canadian superstar.
Negreanu, however, is intensely interested in promoting the game of poker and has worked tirelessly over his life in that regard. Daniel always seems to have time for people that he meets in live poker events or in everyday life and always seems to have a smile on his face. Love him or hate him, it's tough to find another person that has done more to promote the game of poker than Daniel Negreanu.
The documentary looks to have high production values and will take viewers through the highs and lows of Negreanu's career.
There is no official release date for the documentary - Pokerstars has just said that the documentary will be released "soon".
