The King is looking at the Full Tilt Poker logoThe relaunch of Full Tilt Poker is just a few months away.

Aside from all of the operational and repayment issues, one of the biggest questions that is being asked about FTP 2.0 is - who will be sponsored by the site?

Full Tilt Poker 1.0 had hundreds of sponsored pros. Full Tilt Poker 2.0 will likely have a stripped down roster of pros with a greater emphasis on the targeting of certain markets.

So which "big names" may find themselves a part of Full Tilt Poker 2.0?

How about Phil Ivey? Ivey reportedly owes Full Tilt Poker millions of dollars, so it stands to reason that Full Tilt Poker 2.0 may cut Ivey a sponsorship deal that involves the forgiving of some of his debt. Despite all of the craziness that has taken place over the past 18 months, Phil Ivey is still one of the most popular and respected poker players in the world.

How about Viktor "Isildur1" Blom? Blom and Pokerstars recently announced that they are parting ways - does this mean that Blom will end up at Full Tilt Poker? After all, Blom rocketed to super-stardom on Full Tilt Poker, so it would make sense if "Isildur1" was a part of Full Tilt Poker 2.0.

How about Tom Dwan? Based on multiple reports, Dwan has done exceedingly well in "live" cash games around the globe since "Black Friday", so don't be surprised if he foregoes a deal altogether.

How about Patrik Antonius? Well, Antonius signed a deal with iGame just a few months back, so don't expect him to be a part of Full Tilt Poker 2.0, at least not for now.

One other name that will likely be targeted by Full Tilt Poker 2.0? Gus Hansen. Hansen is one of the biggest names in the poker world, plus he is obviously a draw in the Scandinavian market.

Expect two or three of these names to be the centerpieces of Full Tilt Poker's new stable of sponsored pros. After that, expect FTP to carefully target players who appeal to certain markets, similar to what Pokerstars has done with their roster.
