In addition to steering you to the proper place to download your Party Poker software, I thought that I would also take this opportunity to go over some of the reasons why Party Poker is one of my favorite sites to play on.

Prior to pulling out of the United States after the passing of the UIGEA (or, should I say, the sneaking in of the UIGEA into law), Party Poker was THE biggest online poker room in the world.

Then the UIGEA happened, Party Poker pulled out of the United States and they lost their status as the world's largest online poker room.





Having said that, Party Poker is still one of the top poker rooms in the world. Why do I like them?

Well, for starters, they are one of the easiest sites to make money on. Many of the sharks tend to play on FTP and Pokerstars, lured by the prospect of "fishy" American players. I think, for this reason, you will find that the action isn't quite as tough on Party Poker compared to the two big rooms.

Another reason I like Party Poker? Their "Super Sign-Up" bonus. Party Poker offers all of their new customers the opportunity to earn a bonus of up to $500 when signing up and depositing on the site for the first time. Party Poker is already a sign that I would recommend playing on, but their lucrative sign-up bonus puts them over the top.

Lastly? I enjoy Party Poker's software and table layout. Some people may disagree with me on this, but I have always enjoyed playing on Party Poker. Their software package is a big upgrade compared to how it used to be.
