Chad "jse81" Batista Wins FTOPS XV Event #10

A familiar name took down a FTOPS event on Sunday evening, as Chad "jse81" Batista won Event #10 for $225,000.

Batista, who is also known as "lilholdem954" on Pokerstars, managed to navigate his way through a field of over 4,680 entrants to take down the first-place prize.

After negotiating a deal with "Lilly79" during heads up play, Batista ended up walking away with $225,000, while "Lilly79" took home a very respectable $210,000.

Batista has shown a remarkable ability to close out big tournaments during his career.

Before Party Poker closed its doors to US players, Chad Batista won two million-dollar guarantee tournaments on the site in just one month.

In addition, Batista also took down a FTP $1 Million Guarantee event in July of 2007 for $212k.

Love him or hate him, there is no denying that Batista is one of the most successful players in the history of online poker. On Sunday night, Batista just continued to add to his list of accomplishments by taking down FTOPS XV Event #10.
