In a bit of surprising news, Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, one of the best poker players in the world, announced that he has signed a deal to represent Absolute Poker. Absolute Poker, which has always trailed Party Poker, Poker Stars and others in popularity, can count this as a major score for their site. Mizrachi will be joining Mark Seif as the top well-known pros representing the site.
Now if Absolute Poker could do something to improve the interface of the site, they may start making leaps in terms of gaining new clientele. I am not a big fan of the interface, although the players there are generally fairly poor. Count this as a step in the right direction for Absolute though, it will be sure to attract new fish to the site.
