Alan Goehring Wins 2006 L.A. Poker Classic

Alan Goehring was chipleader after Day One, and followed through on this momentum to capture the 2006 L.A. Poker Classic, and $2.4 million dollars in the process. Alan and Daniel Quach were the last two left in the tournament, and Alan won after calling Daniel Quach's all-in with Kd-8h, against Quach's Ad-Jh. A King hit the flop, and Goehring took the lead and eventually the championship. Here are all the bustout hands at the final table for your viewing pleasure:
2nd Place: Daniel Quach. Eliminated after his A-J all-in preflop fails to hold up against Alan Goehring's K-8.
3rd Place: Michael Woo. Calls Daniel Quach's all-in with 55. Quach has K-Q. Flop comes A-A-Q and Daniel Quach's pair of Queens hold up.
4th Place: Steven Simmons. Pushes all-in. Called by Goehring. Simmons shows J-10 offsuit, Goehring has K-J of hearts. No help for Simmons.
5th Place: J.C. Tran. Gets into a raising war with Alan Goehring. They get all their chips in. Tran has pocket Aces and Goehring has pocket 5's. 5 on the river eliminates Tran.
6th Place: Per Ummer. Ummer moves all-in and is called by J.C. Tran. Ummer has A-7, and is dominated by A-K. No help for Ummer and he is out in 6th place.
